Steel pipes have the advantages of high strength, good rigidity, strong pressure resistance, good oil resistance and corrosion resistance, and low cost; however, they are difficult to assemble and bend. They are mainly used in conditions where pressure, high power, and unrestricted assembly space are required. Seamless steel pipes are used in medium- and high-pressure systems, while welded steel pipes can be used for suction and return pipes in low-pressure systems. Currently, steel pipes are the most widely used in various hydraulic equipment.

The raw materials for hydraulic steel pipes undergo precision drawing, non-oxidizing bright heat treatment (NBK condition), non-destructive testing, high-pressure rinsing of the inner bore, acid washing, anti-rust treatment of the inner and outer walls with anti-rust oil, and dust-proofing of the ends with caps. They can be bent at any angle without deformation. They are primarily used as steel pipes in hydraulic system oil circuits, also known as hard piping in hydraulic systems.

Precision steel tubes for automotive applications typically have an outer diameter (D) of Φ4mm to 76mm and a wall thickness (S) of 0.5mm to 6.0mm. The standard length is 6 meters (custom lengths available), and the delivery condition is NBK (normalized), GBK (annealed), or BKS (stress-relieved annealed).
